Vintage accurate '50's ABR-1 nickel saddle and screw direct replacement set for current Gibson Historic bridge bodies with the narrow ears. (there is another listing for the earlier bridge body with wider ears) These parts were developed thru a long collaboration between Mark Bishop, of TruVintage Replica Parts (Mark's Guitar Loft) and John Mann, of MannMade USA. I provided John with a complete original '50's ABR-1 and the process included : Metallurgy testing to confirm the correct alloy of the base metals, as well as the plating material; 3-D Scanning, Reverse Engineering & Inspection; Detailed Engineering CAD models, blueprints & processes. The end results speak for itself... Parts that not only look and feel era correct, but sound era correct! When looking at the 2nd picture in the listing, you will see the 2 different Historic bridge bodies, this listing is for the bottom picture which is the new narrow ear version released in the last few years. The pictures show a set of the saddles and screws in a reissue bridge body for reference but the listing is for the saddles and screws only. Saddles will need to be notched.
