(Item#219) 2010 Gibson Custom Shop - Historic Makeovers RDS Package 1958 Les Paul Goldtop reissue, this was a ‘58 sunburst plaintop reissue that was sent to Historic Makeovers in 2012 for the complete RDS package including neck reset with hide glue, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, top and neck reshape, complete Goldtop refinish w/ old style Nitro lacquer, finish checking and a good amount of aging. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 3 ounces, “C” shape neck with small shoulders that measures: 1st fret - .894”, 12th fret - .986”. Guitar has some nice added parts including a set of ThroBak SLE-101 Maximum Vintage PAF pickups that read: bridge - 8.13K, neck - 7.57K, Historic Makeover parts: pickup rings, rolled truss rod cover, lightly aged amber knobs, switch nut, ABR-1 thumbwheels & jackplate. Pigtail stop tailpiece & studs, CTS pots and PIO BumbleBee caps. Guitar comes with original Gibson paperwork, hang tags & certificate along with the Historic Makeovers certificate and original black Custom Shop case.
