(Item#238) 2000 Gibson Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul reissue in Darkburst finish with a strong flame maple top, guitar weighs 9 lbs 2 ounces, at this time Gibson was still using great South American Honduras Mahogany and the Aniline cherry pore filler was very accurate looking, guitar is 100% original and still in super clean condition, the one blemish is that at some point a 2nd bottom strap button hole was drilled, no buckle rash on the back, fat “D” shape neck that measures: 1st fret - .928”, 12th fret - 1.044”, dark Indian rosewood fingerboard, frets are in great condition, Classic ‘57 pickups that read: bridge 7.75K, neck - 7.67K, guitar plays and sounds great! it’s very loud and big sounding acoustically. Comes with hang tag, warranty paper and black Historic Collection case. THERE WERE NO CERTIFICATES ISSUED IN THE 2000 MODEL YEAR. BETTER PICTURE TO FOLLOW, IT’S BEEN BRUTALLY COLD HERE AND NOT MUCH SUN
