(Item#243) 1997 Gibson Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul reissue with a beautiful curly eastern flame maple top, most tops from the ‘90’s are big leaf western maple. Reddish brown Honduran Mahogany body and neck wood. This guitar is 100% original and crazy clean! Guitar weighs 9 lbs even, full “C” shape neck that measures: 1st fret - .927”, 12th fret - 1.023”, dark brown fingerboard, zero fret wear, ‘57 Classic pickups that read: bridge - 7.83K, neck - 7.93K, even the back looks like new with no rivet or buckle wear, there are some hairline finish craks at the ends of the frets (fairly common for a 28 year old guitar), my guess is that this guitar has been in a collection since new, comes with hang tag, warranty paper and original brown Gibson USA case.
