(Item#294) 2016 Custom Shop - MGL HotRod Series 1959 Les Paul reissue in VOS Iced Tea finish, The HotRod Series are guitars that I upgrade pickups and parts on at a package price. Here’s what I did on this guitar: A set of Duncan zebra bobbin Pearly Gates pickups mounted in TruVintage cream CAB M69 rings. Other TruVintage parts added: lightly aged burst knobs, poker chip, Catalin switch tip, output jackplate, aged ABR-1 thumbwheels & lightly aged stop tailpiece (over $700.00 in parts plus labor). Guitar weighs 8 lbs 14 ounces, Fat “C” shape neck that measures: 1st fret - .931”, 12th fret - 1.026”, no fret wear, Pearly Gates pickups read: bridge - 8.1K, neck - 7.27K, guitar is in super clean condition with only one small ding on the back edge of the body near the control cover(see picture). Back is clean with no buckle rash or rivet worming. Comes with all paperwork, certificate and reissue brown case.
