(Item#304)(consignment) 2011 Custom Shop - Historic Makeovers RDS 1958 Les Paul reissue makeover, guitar was from a special run of figured maple top ‘58’s done for Guitar Center that had “V8 XXX” serial numbers. This guitar was completed by Historic Makeovers in 2015 and it got a black stinger on the back of the headstock with a new ‘59 serial number. Original serial number is stamped inside the control cavity. Complete RDS makeover package including neck re-set with Hide glue and Royalite binding, neck carve, top carve, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, vintage formula nitro lacquer finish with real finish checking and aging. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 7 ounces, neck measurements: 1st fret - .876”, 12th fret - .942”, comfortable “C” shape w/ small shoulders and rolled binding. Parts list: ThroBak SLE-101 Plus MXV pickup set mounted in Bartlett M69 rings, RetroSpec parts: Vintage Control pots & caps set, aged switch ring, aged amber bonnet knobs, aged reissue Kluson tuners, ABR-1 thin thumbwheels & posts, rolled truss rod cover, aged switch tip, MojoAxe pickguard. Guitar comes with all paperwork & HM certificate as seen in last picture alnog with original black Custom Shop case.
