(Item#221)(consignment) 1996 Gibson Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul Reissue, this is a true ‘90’s Killer - Monster top guitar! Guitar was owned by Joe Ganzler and he named it “Tangela” after his wife Angela. My guess is the “T” was added for the Tangerine Burst color. The maple top on this guitar looks like it's actually on fire! Guitar is still in crazy clean condition and has spent time in a number of collections, all original and no issues, guitar weighs 9 lbs 1 ounce, great feeling neck that measures: 1st fret - .870", 12th fret - 1.00", Indian rosewood fingerboard, no fret wear at all, '57 Classic pickups that read: bridge - 7.87K, neck - 7.58K, comes with hang tags, warranty paper and original brown Gibson USA case. These investment - collector grade ‘90’s Big Top reissues don’t come up very often these days.
